It was a misty driech day to host our 2024 Triathlon, we almost got the bike lights out. 80 made it to the start line, 72 taking on the triathlon and 8 the aqua bike. Our race director for the day Colin gave an excellent briefing alongside the Triathlon Scotland official.
The Moray Triathlon is a 414m swim in a 25 yard pool – 18 lengths, then onto the bike for a 24km ride, two laps on quietish roads, all left turns, although it was a driech day the road conditions were still good. After the cycle it’s a trail run just over 5km in the beautiful grounds of Gordonstoun School.
